Eurail Pass Benefits in Sweden

If your Eurail Pass is valid in Sweden, you can get great deals, cheap ferry crossings to Germany, Finland and Denmark, or free bus travel.

You can obtain benefits locally by showing your Eurail Pass, or you can contact the specific benefit company in advance. The discount benefits only apply during the validity of your Eurail Pass. Free passage on trains, buses or ferries is only valid on travel days.

Tallink Silja Lines Ferries

Travel to Finland, Estonia or Latvia with Tallink Silja Lines ferries

Eurail pass holders pay special fares on Tallink Silja Lines ferries that operate on the routes:

Stockholm – Riga (Latvia)
Stockholm – Mariehamn – Turku (Finland)
Stockholm – Mariehamn – Helsinki (Finland)
Stockholm – Tallinn (Estonia)

Benefit from a 20% discount during high season and up to 50% off during low season.

Please keep in mind that the above routes are night crossings and that you'll have to book a cabin.

NB: Take bus 35 from Malmö City Centre. Get off at the bus stop Aspögatan and switch to bus 34 (destination North harbour). From the bus stop Hemsögatan it's an approx. 1 kilometer walk to Lappögatan. A taxi from Malmö Central Station to Lappögatan costs approximately SEK 150.
